Gilded Bay a-sailing down along the coast of high barbary

It was a late evening wander that took Kingsley up the coastline, though his attention was grabbed by a curious bay before he made his way any further north. The rock pools that dotted the sand flats glimmered in the moonlight, each one beckoning him like sirens to come inspect what treasures they held just below their shallow surfaces.

Obediently, the pirate drew forth, eyes gleaming as he peered into a nearby pool. He couldn't quite make out what was in there, so he thrust a forepaw into the waters, using his claws to drag out a small, black mussel as if it were a lucky prize dip. Delighted with his find, a grin spread across his features, before the man set to work trying to pry the thing apart with his teeth.
