when the call first rises for him, vex hesitates fearing that it's arbiter come back for him ...but realizes in the seconds later that the voice is all wrong. led by curiosity and the fact that it would be horribly rude to ignore a direct summons, vex makes his way towards where the call rose from; long legs carrying him quickly across the short distance. when he arrives upon the scene, he sees the woman draped in an elegant pelage of gold, cinnamon and cream, stained with blood — no doubt from the kill at her paws.

for now, the third party goes unseen as he approaches erzulie, unspoken question in his eyes.

i wasn't sure if komet was close enough to really be detected so i edited my original post to say that vex didn't notice him.
