Vesta watched as Merrick tried to intervene, to get his children to listen to reason. 

Neither listened, and the brawl continued. 
Solaria saw the dark disappointment in her King's eye, and at his silent gesture, she fell in at his flank, assuming his wraith-wife would also join. 

With one last turn of her head, Vesta heard Aventus demand his sister's departure. 

In her mind, she solemnly thought that the end of Ursus was only beginning... 

But she had faith they would prevail.
