He loves the sound of her voice more than anything. It’s final. He’s definitely turning soft in his old age. What with getting his ass beat and then sobbing like a pup when he finds one of two mates, he knows he’s getting soft. 

Still it doesn’t stop him with sighing softly when Serem speaks back to him. She even teases him. She’s not wrong. He’s been getting himself into trouble ever since they parted ways. He would do no such thing again. 

Santi can’t help but chuckle back at her tease. “Mhm, guess that means you can’t leave.” He says back, nuzzling her neck softly. He even attempts one of his sly smiles he used to always give her. Only for a hiss of breath to show the pain from it. Only then does he pull back with a tug on her scruff. “Volvamos.” He hums softly back to her. All he wants to do is lay beside her.
