While she was waiting, her mind drifted towards her home and those that she had left behind again and although she tried to shake the painful memories away, they appeared bright and blinding in her mind. She only managed to keep her expression calm and thoughtful, a skill that was extremely useful when you felt like doubling over and breaking down. To cry and to wither, to leave the world and be with her loved ones again. Although pride would stop her from ever admitting it, she missed her parents and her brother and her old pack so damn much. She felt like fate was laughing at her, giving her all she wanted then pulling them away.
A scent pulled her out of her memories and into the present where a fiery female appeared, her tail high in the air, her posture dominant. She lowered her head unwillingly, flattened her ears slightly as a show of submission. Pride stopped her from submitting too much but at least to her, it was acceptable. Truly, she was doing her best not to act dominant and snarky like she did when she was in a mood like today.
The female spoke and she sighed silently, sky blue gaze carrying a dark sadness as she replied in a soft clear voice. "Greetings," she began, "I am Azar and I seek to join your pack." she assumed that this female was the Alphess by her dominant stance and her words. If only her brother was here now, he had always been the glow in her life after their parents had died, given her hope and confidence but now, with him gone, she was just an empty shell, looking for a new start.
