The Creek was silent for the moment -- a rare event that had spurned Scimitar's exploring boots on and out the door if only for a momentary lapse of solitude. The pack seemed disconnected to him now -- the newcomers were not as settled as previous members had been, and he found it harder and harder to steer his direction from Neverwinter Forest, where his body cried for him to go. If it were not for Bazi and Kaskara, he likely would have left eons ago.
But his responsibility also stagnated this idea, and so he scouted the nearby areas, never leaving the valley he had come to call home. Since his brief interlude with the silver male, Scimitar had seen hide nor tail of him, which better suited the regal. It was likely he had found some other pack to smirk at -- as long as he stayed far away from the Creek wolves.
What was unexpected with his newfound distaste for the silver male was the scent of the Sunspire so steadily nearby. The shaky truce had held up thus far, neither group bothering the other.. and now his eyes fell upon the vaguely familiar form of a she-wolf he had known to have once been in Creek ranks, but had never conversed with her prior. Hesitance stilled him, and Scimitar allowed his tongue to sweep across his lips in quiet contemplation to whether he approach, or simply ignore her and continue on his way.
He didn't trust turning his back on a Sunspire wolf.

he came and stole the wild
a crime so old as the sky and bone
