In this moment alone, there had never been so much desire burning within Vivaan's heart.

He no longer cared about proving himself. He knew he was worthy. He wanted to have what it was he had always deserved: to make his mark on the wolf that would offer him a future of great power. 

Vex would be his wife, and she would carry the future of the Dominion. He would become the King of the empire, regardless of whether a proper title stating such was bestowed. A mere label wasn't needed. Only proof... and proof he had.

The woman's crooning itched at his spine. Such a sound bore ill will. No more.

Lunging with what power he could muster, Vivaan aimed his teeth for her shoulder, placing his weight wherever he could manage in an attempt to pin her. This fight would end, and he would be victorious.
