She felt renewed. Refreshed. Especially so after having made up for much lost time with Kukutux. Next in her sights was Lote. The Tundrian felt just as close with her as she did Moonwoman. It felt like even more time had stretched between them since they had last seen one another. The last she recalled, she had been nearby while Lote gave birth last year. Much of what transpired after was lost to Keyni.
She was eager to see how her friend fared. After hearing her voice when she stood at the entrance to the village, she had yearned to come racing towards her side. But other little distractions on the side put that off. Not today. Keenly focused, she trailed her scent, following it. She had a guess that she might use the same ulaq as last year. That was her first stop. A crooning bark was given, hoping she was nearby.
