Northstar Vale grainbloom

The ruddy girl's initial wonder progressively faded, just as the warm shades of the vale had too. Antigone spoke the same question that crossed her mind. Zulema wasn't sure what to make of her mother's explanation. While the snow was pretty, she found herself longing for the sun, the red leaves. She longed for the warmth the vale could offer in earlier months. Yet, Tamar had explained how this would happen again, it was a circle.

She wanted to be in the comfort of their den, warm.

❝Will the sky always look this?❞ Perhaps it was a silly question, but her eyes were still trained upwards.
