Northstar Vale trinity

If there was one thing Sable did, and did well, it was lurk. He liked being alone, sitting beside family members but without speaking. He’d found he could, if he tried to very very hard, but it was difficult.

He wasn’t much for difficult.

When his sister went tumbling for the door to the stranger, Sable followed with pudgy little rolls of his windmilling legs to stand behind her, silently nudging his shoulder to her haunch, staring up at the new face with a wide eyed stare.

He blinked, just once, to see if she would disappear before he embarked on a one sided staring contest.
