The young wolfdog woke to a new sensation. She recognized it, but it was unfamiliar to herself. It triggered her brain though and she knew what it was. Páli reacted in the most reasonable way she felt she could. She raced out of her den and into the brisk air of the mountains that she had recently found, though it wasn't that brisk today and frankly was warm, but that's besides the point.
