With a thump of his tail, the male changed the subject by regarding her scent. It was not a hostile remark, and she was sure of that for his features were pleasant.
With a slight smirk, she countered: "You smell of the Plateau." Falwasi had not grown up besides many other packs, the only ones surrounding her two days travel. She recognized Swiftcurrent Creek was neutral enough when it came to pack relations, the only exception being the Sunspire wolves - as far as she knew.
