Man, what a ride!

LP slips from his mother with an inglorious thump, and comes out cooing, once she clears the fluid from his mouth. He's spitting and laughing where cries usually came, the whirlwind and pain of the delivery totally lost on him. Yeah, let's do it again!

He rather finds himself lifted rather rudely off the ground and put down somewhere to snuggle up and rest. LP wrestles around instead, wriggling against his sister and snuffing about her face. She is just as wriggly and squirmy as him -- all right!

But soon she is stilling, and only then, a sweet scent hits him. Mmm wonderful, and something he wants! LP's got no name for it, but when he jabs his nose against ma's soft belly, he finds it sure enough. Flooding his mouth and filling him up with everything good. He suckles until he is exhausted and falls asleep with a milky drool dribbling down his jaw.

This life already ain't half that bad.
