He wasn't discouraged whatsoever. When he heard his mother laugh, he knew he could get away with just a bit more. Frolic imitated him, and his mouth opened wide when she said something even better than what he'd been trying to get her to say. He screeched with laughter, staggering in the occasional "Buttlick! She said buttlick!!"[b] Rolling back and forth on his bottom in disbelief. He quieted down when his mother made a request and he chuckled quietly, but did not nod. 

He wasn't going to agree to those terms. Not when he knew what power he had over the younger kid, now. 

His mother drew something else and immediately, his tiny young boy brain saw the beginnings of an oval shape, short-circuited and he belted the word [b]"PENIS!" Though Frolic had simultaneously shouted something else, and his outburst blended with hers. He immediately regretted saying the word, though, and snapped his mouth shut, looking up at his mother with big, questioning eyes- as if to proclaim his complete innocence. 

Frolic went back with her siblings, tired out already. He scoffed lightly, and leaned against his mother with a soft sigh. Frolic was just too young to play with yet, and she didn't really seem all that interested in learning words from him. After a moment of thought, he lifted his muzzle to more-spit-than-whisper "Can you draw, a real butt?" in her earlobe.
