His eyes studied over the gravesite – thoughtful in its own way, and yet it felt strange to be standing here. He had not known the deceased, and while she now held a landmark for the pack, he wondered how meaningful it would remain for the years to come. Would the future members of the pack pay the founder homage? Or would she be forgotten?

He personally paid his own respects to Bazi – and Fox, during the time of her reign. They had been the ones to take him in, and it was the ivory female that had made the Creek home to him.

Casting his eyes back on the newcomer, he gave a nod forward, indicating the tour would continue. And so it would – he would take the ebony male to the Women’s Glade next, and throughout the territory to a few caches. From there, he at least could part ways with the male with the knowledge that he had rolled out the welcome mat to the best of his ability.
he came and stole the wild
a crime so old as the sky and bone
