Ines didn't stray far from the Isle anymore. It was empty, again, Ever having taken off, and Ines had thought to follow. But the land pulled her back; not just land, but her birthright. Her kingdom may have crumbled, but it had crumbled when Iseul had ruled. She and Matteo never had the chance. Iseul had given them a voice, but what was a voice, when she'd decided to let in unruly cowpoke -- and gave them crowns, no less! -- without asking for her say in the matter?
That had been their undoing, Colt and his lot. Good riddance they were gone. So sorry to whoever got them next.
Still, the Isle had been less lonely when she hadn't been the only one there. And since no one seemed to be naturally coming to Two Rivers, Ines ventured out. She tracked the river south, trying her paw at fishing along the way, until the colours in the water changed from grey to green to a vibrant orange -- only then, she looked up.
Huh. Pretty.
But it hardly tugged at her heart to stay here longer than she needed. This wasn't home, after all. Still, she made her way through, picking her way along the river, looking for shadows in the still water that would alert her to some poor fish swimming a little too close to surface for its own good.
Instead, she saw a bigger shadow, wolfish in nature. A disheveled brute who'd clearly had better days.

You're look like youve seen better days, came her estately greeting. Her nose crinkled at the corners -- seriously, was a little hygiene from the wolves of these corners too much to ask? At least he didn't smell like that gross orange thing Iseul had let into her land.
@Mohan forgive me, Ines is a brat xD
