He'd been traveling for so long. Meet a few here and there. Lost and misplaced others.
But the adventures of a wayward traveler were getting old. In truth it was something he enjoyed as a hobby. Not as a full time job. He thought back to the times when he had a home to call him own. But it felt like so long ago now.
The air was getting chillier and chillier by the day and he knew winter would come very soon. He could fend for himself, he had in the past. But to endure was something different than to sacrifice oneself to the elements.
His wondering led him into the wood. A setting summarizing himself. A foggy unclearity. Repetitive patterns. With no clear path forward.
He waded into the fog slowly. Allowing the air to carry him and the lingering clouds wherever fate saw fit.
