the snapping of her little alligator jaws causes a stir of something like anger in the dawn boy. his whiny growls echo through the cavernous space, and he rears up with a haphazard plan to retaliate.
this plan, of course, was to simply smack his sister around.
he clumsily rotates to meet her and, with all the fierceness of a butterfly, tackles her with his sharp baby teeth aimed at her nape. he struggles for a moment before he latches on, tail stiffly raised in a flag high above his haunches.
if he were older, this would certainly be a lot more dramatic, but for now his caregivers can be entertained by the development of hierarchy between siblings.
