The pheasant was gripped loosely in his jaws as the regal wolf trailed after the females scent. Esperanza was a newer face to the Creek, and his only interactions with the swarthy female thus far had been him having a clipped coversation twice, and then telling her off when she had come to heal Dovev.

This did not settle well with the cinnamon wolf. He might have been under stress, and even heartache, but it was no excuse to treat his fellow pack mate in such a manner. Scimitar was many uncomplimentary things, but he liked to think he could at least be civil to those who deserved it.

And so he sought her out bearing a gift of apology -- he could only hope he would be able to track her down.
