Blue took a shuddering breath at the obvious pain in Junior's face, eyes and voice. Oh chile. She slipped into her father's favorite word, and she nuzzled Junior's face gently, not even caring if the girl would snap at her in pain, but the need to make her feel better was more than she could take.
