Lotus watched with silent fascination as the stern countenance on the stranger’s face only became more glower-y and stern. She hadn’t thought it possible—and yet he stole into a seat, deep eyes staring at her unrelentlessly. And possibly angrily.

Shifting her weight, one hip popping out in her devil-may-care attitude, she swept her honeyed eyes over him again, a smile pulling at the corner of her darker lips at his words. “Maybe I should tell you where it is—sounds like you could use it to relax a little.”

He could use a full body soak in it, she figured.
