Pangur didn’t falter. She was quick, her paws moving almost fluidly despite the uneven ground. Luhtar’s eyes narrowed, watching her as she sought to grab his scruff. He sidestepped just enough to dodge her first strike, but not enough to avoid her entirely.

She did, indeed, get a hold on him—her teeth grazing the back of his neck as she tugged with unexpected strength. His head jerked back, the force causing his balance to shift, but before he could regain his footing, she was already attempting to latch onto him again.

"Ack!" He choked out, shooting a glare over his shoulder.

Luhtar growled low, his muscles coiling as he tried to move quickly. His large paws shifted, and with a grunt, he surged forward with his full weight behind him, hoping to force her off-balance and send her sprawling into the snow.
