A rabbit, small and swift, darted into the clearing.

The chase was short-lived; her precision as a warrior served her well, and she returned to her full height with the rabbit limp in her jaws.

Satisfied, she turned back toward the woods, carrying her prize in her teeth as she followed the winding path back toward Heimtré.

It wasn’t long before she caught the faint scent of another. She wasn’t a wolf of selfish habits; the meal would go further if shared. With a quiet chuff to announce her presence, Íruna stepped into the open, the rabbit still dangling from her jaws. She set it down gently, her lavender eyes meeting the other wolf’s with an easy calm.

“Would you like to share?” she asked simply, her tail swaying lightly behind her. “It’s fresh, and there’s more than enough for two.”
