Raven's Watch scaring me

The stranger reeked of fear. It satisfied the cruel part of his mind.

He lowered his head now, offering a smile as though to show that he was not a threat. Maybe nothing, only showing my concern. Chaudry responded, the tip of his dark tail flicking upwards. I come from a pack in the vale, I know of the danger this area holds. His words carried no mockery, his voice monotone and neutral.

Sunset eyes grazed the man in front of him. He was thin, in clear need of a meal which Chaudry's home could offer. It would not be long before the vale closed it's borders, and so the last of their potential guests would need to be collected soon.
