There was no place quite like home. Persia, though not often a man of great sentiment, had found this truth proven time and again. He'd found, too, that there was less true sentiment to it than anyone ever wanted to admit. It was only natural to miss home.
It didn't mean home was anything special.
So, finding no good reason to move on just yet, Persia lingered. He hunted when he felt the pangs of hunger, and he howled into the wind when the pangs felt more like loneliness. He stood in the woodland and howled just then, just because he felt like it. It still wasn't home.
