The next to bother him wasn't a fox at all. It was a little blonde wisp of a girl, not yet a yearling but perhaps close. Persia, who had just settled down to finish his hare, looked up with a huffed laugh.

Because this - Persia gestured with his nose at the hare. - is mine.

He eyed the girl, wondering just how sheltered she was. What would you have done?
