Neverwinter Forest rikkefaul

there was a gentleness found in his voice that velia thought comforting. she listened as he spoke, absorbing what knowledge she could as the water flowed beside them. the music of the creek sung a lullaby in the background, and as he looked skyward toward the glimmer of moonlight, the yearling sought to do the same. 

when he spoke his final words velia turned to him, thinking only one thought to be shared. "your máni sounds beautiful." 

moonlight, protector, mother — her mind wandered with girlish thoughts of máni in physical form should the goddess ever bless the nymph with a visit. a pretty thought indeed.
