Flicking an ear, he gave her a smile. ''Ah, lovely meaning. Admittedly, the reason I'm called Wormwood is because of being born into plains dotted with the plant - Wormwood, nothing special.'' His parents had been elders, even then, it was likely the first thing that came to their minds. It was no secret that he was not born with purpose, a late surprise in their aging lives.

But he shrugged. ''Tis what it is, heard the plant does wonders for your digestion.'' He grinned with a playful tug at the corners of his maw. 

''Not that I've eaten it, I'll leave that to the deer.''
