The title of this thread was taken from lyrics by The Last Dinner Party... 'Nothing Matters.' Just discovered them this week.

She wove through the dense trees—tufts of ginger and honey fur left behind on the arduous limbs of thin trees that reincarnated webs of spiders. This was not the forests of time and wisdom she had grown accustom to in her years of life—the carnality of this woods was something entirely different.
