Odessia slowed her pace as the other wolf began to retreat, huffing in her general direction. It did not feel "unnecessary" to Odessia, and she was her own number one. Satisfied with a job well done, Odessia caught sight of vultures circling eastward, and she set her sights on that, hoping to find a good meal for herself.
