"What an interesting possibility."  No more was said.

There were many things that she was meant to be, meant to do. However, that all had been torn apart by the seams and ripped from her calloused palms. Siofra's devotion to her gods had once burned brightly, and yet, the faint undertone of skepticism within her voice betrayed that former reality.  But...the way the lady's eyes shone of fate, the gentle assurance in her voice... Siofra wanted to believe her. Wanted to believe that she was guided by a purpose. Even if she were simply clinging to a delusion, it felt good in that moment.

Although the majority of the siren's stubborn guard remained, portions of it was slowly being eroded by the waters of the woman's grace. Hostility did not cling to the atmosphere-- as far as she could tell. Her still gaze refused to sway from the madam, perhaps out of fear that if she were to look away, she would vanish among the willows.

Sage irises searched the stranger's svelte exterior for any hint of a story or unvoiced thought. Siofra desired to put a name to face in that moment:

"...What do they call you?"
