Her ears perked at Gjalla's confirmation, and with head bowed she entered the stormwoman's abode. The sight was grisly. Red matted grey furs at her throat and stained the ground a dark, familiar colour. Satori felt bile rise in her throat. 

"We'll clean it first," she hoped the darkness obscured the shake in her paws as she gathered handfulls of moss and lichen, already damp from condensation. "And then stop the bleeding." Carefully, and mindful of Gjalla's demeanour, she began to wash the wound of blood and muck until the extent of it became clear. Now the real work could begin.

Chewing the white elder flowers into a paste, she worked quickly to press it into the gash. "This might sting a little." Satori slowly let the work lull her into a steady rhythm of body and mind.
