lost within a bloodlusting stupor. draugr cannot pull himself out yet, not before the intruder is thoroughly punished. he thought himself more man than draugr, to come within his territory? to lay claim to it? to diminish what draugr had cemented?
skidding upon back paws, he is shoved a margin away when the smaller male crashes upon him. shoulders clashing once more, he still has fight left in him. and his pride would sow his death, and draugr would be the executioner.
he lashes out, the crack of a whip against the night sky. seizing around the man's frame with speed he should not possess but driven by ancient battle fury, capturing brown tail in teeth and crushing. crushing, then violently shaking his head. hearing the sickening crunch and pop of bone, and the tear of flesh.
