— he toted with him a rabbit hide of various things. a bone for chewing when he got bored, though it was practically gnawed to pieces and he'd soon need to acquire a new one, some dried meats for snacking, herbs for if he got into any scuffles—
safe to say ridgeback was prepared for pretty much any scenario he stumbled upon. now he drifted. these new lands were vast and green, full of rolling hills, plateaus, plains, and various gorgeous water sources. winter left and spring came with its magical bounty, and with it, he felt the blues that often came with the colder months begin to fade.
he was thawing. and he felt alive.
humming a song to himself as he goes, uncaring of who might hear his... interesting cadence. it wasn't terrible! but it wasn't good. paws scrabbling over rocky terrain and his golden eyes seeking the sights that lay below as he skirted slowly, slowly, up the heights.
