when his eyes adjust, he lays eyes upon a beautiful woman. simply breath-taking. the man feels his fur bristle in alarm, his skin heating up with a violent, gut-wrenching embarrassment. he swallows and forces himself to reel back inwards; clearing his throat, and if he had a hand he would have brushed his hair back with a smooth palm.
my lady, ridgeback exhales dramatically, sweeping into a bow. i did not expect— he pauses, eyes briefly flickering with thought before he continues, the company of a maiden today. he rises from the bow in what is seconds and gives her a flashy smile, swaggering to his right and making for the path that leads to the bluff she poses herself upon. if i knew i would be regaling you with song, i would have warmed up.
