suyin doesn't shy from his approach—welcoming his nearness like heat in winter. once he's sat before her, she lifts a paw, slow and deliberate, and brushes against the line of his taut shoulder with a soft scrape. she begins to smooth away the grime streaked down his spine, claws gentle but firm, dragging water through his fur to reveal the red belt beneath.
