no worries! we can fade here if you want and continue in another?
The sandwoman’s plum gaze softened, the weight of Periane’s words settling into her like the steady rhythm of the earth’s pulse beneath her feet. Her breath stirred through the air, a silent prayer in the quiet space between them. She felt the touch of her sister’s hand, warm against her skin, grounding her. It was not the heat of the touch that brought peace; it was the faith in it.
The words that rolled on Periane’s tongue were like a balm to her spirit, and in the deep of her heart, she found a quiet flame that flickered in response. She allowed herself a breath, steadying the lingering uncertainty within. „You speak true, Periane,” she began softly, her voice carrying a quiet conviction. „Fear does not move us, but faith does. And if His will guides us, we will go where He calls.”
Hemera’s gaze, once held by her companion, now rose to the heavens, her eyes tracing the space between the stars. The sky, vast and infinite, felt both distant and intimate. She inhaled deeply, as if to draw the weight of the world into her chest, then let it go. „It is not doubt that we are to overcome, but the limits of our own understanding,” she murmured, „We are made whole not by certainty, but by the strength to walk without knowing what lies ahead.”
She stepped closer, her tail brushing against her, their shared path drawing them near. Her words were quiet, but they held an unshakable force. “We will bring neither fire nor fury,” she said, pressing her hand over Periane's heart once more. „Only the light that comes from within. And those who see it, who feel it, will choose.”
Hemera’s gaze lingered on the dove, a quiet understanding passing between them. „We will go as messengers of peace, even if the world cannot see it yet.”
