Two Eyes Cenote Where history and future meet

The red woman uttered some gobbledygook, and Odessia narrowed her eyes. The audacity to come out and insult her right out in the open! Ugly words from an even uglier wolf! Not even her smile could make her face any prettier, and Odessia felt her blood reaching a boil. She did not even bother to listen to the red wolf's introduction. In fact, she had opened her mouth to give the one-eyed wolf a piece of her own mind when the dark male, Viper, interjected.
Odessia looked at him with brief bewilderment, then flashed a wicked grin back at the red wolf as Viper took a step toward her. She did not pull away when he moved to touch her, to bow before her, nor did she shrink when he asked if she had a husband. Although, she could not help but correct him on his strange word.
"I have no mate, if that is what you mean," she said.
She sensed the indescribable feeling of being watched, though she was now so entertained by Viper, she could not bother to care. In fact, Odessia had all but forgotten about the red wolf, too. Her blood cooled to a strong simmer now, blue eyes locked on the curious creature named Viper.
