Apollo had recovered quickly from the ordeal with his brother and @Soto. He'd been back to his usual shenanigans within the hour. But he hadn't forgotten.
Each day he romped and sowed chaos in the area immediately surrounding Leto's den — he was getting too rowdy to be denned much longer — and each day he failed to see Soto make another appearance. Maybe his naps were poorly timed. Or maybe the man wasn't going to come back.
Apollo refused to believe it. On this day he refused his nap, instead grumpily patrolling the perimeter of the den as far as he dared to go. Where the heck was that guy?
