one of kogi's sisters is awake, too, and her eyes have also opened to the world. for once, she is quiet, a rare occurrence for the normally-vocal cub. she stares at the bright light of "outside" in stillness, and kogi's eyes eventually land on her. he is drawn to the color of her fur, her scent, and the instinct to socialize. he waddles toward her, neck outstretched and nose twitching with each breath in and out.
when he finally reaches her, kogi lets out a delighted squeak.
