Like all things, the storm came to pass.

The reminder of it was the damp trees, water dripping off leaves and the jungle-like humidity that lingered. The water, too, clung to her own coat now. Summer had never been her favorite season even if it was easier to flourish in. The wake of the storm left a tiredness in her bones.

It meant no more distractions and no more of nature's lullaby.

It was time to go. To begin again and help restore things where she could. She nodded and offered a wave of her tail once. Keen to take off at the Redhawk's own pace. Mental notes of the land made as they went off together deeper into the territory.
