Redhawk Caldera volans

Near the nest of Redhawks — or the Hobbit Hole as @Towhee had said — Trailhawk had come.

The scent of the Elder Redhawk a familiar comfort. There were the scents of the children as well. @Amalia and Killdeer too. Very clearly a family establishment and while nerves prickled down her limbs, even making her tail tuck some, it was mostly excitement that coursed through her now.

She dropped a rabbit's leg (she had wanted just the foot, but found it difficult to delicately dismantle) before allowing herself to croon out a warm note. Hopeful she might coax out the Redhawk family.
