Silverlight Terrace one, two princes

He was distracted, digging through the grass with an idly wagging tail for a long moment after the stranger appeared. It was only after the breeze picked up that the stranger's scent reached him, and Kindle lifted his head to look around.

His gilded stare soon found the pale stranger. His black nose twitched as he lifted his muzzle higher into the breeze. It was a young wolf, not quite a yearling, entirely unfamiliar to him.

Kindle watched them, his tail still wheeling slow in a gesture of uncertain friendliness.
