Kira’s head lowered in acknowledgement as she watched Kindle roll on the ground to leave his scent. 

“Seems easy enough,” Kira said, sniffing at the spot when he stood up. “Are there certain spots that you mark?” She asked. “Or, how do you decide where to mark?” She sniffed around some more, curious.

“Do you think they’ll let me stay?” Kira asked, clearly nervous. Despite her stubbornness and original uncertainty about if she should stay, internally, she was insecure and worried they wouldn’t accept her.
