Kindle backed down, broadcasting his submission through body language. He hadn't meant to hurt her feelings, but it seemed that he had, and he had no desire to double down. Instead, he listened to her verdict, gazing dubiously at the young woman. Doubtlessly, Katmai would feel similarly compelled to care for her — so he didn't bother arguing that they didn't know her or owe her anything, or that she could be carrying all sorts of parasites or diseases.

"Alright — help me get her on my back?" he requested, crouching low to start the process. He figured he'd better just keep Kinusi from getting infected with anything, even if she was the healer here, and bound to be interacting with the sick shewolf anyway.

Once that was over and done with, Kindle stood uncomfortably under the weight of the too-light female. 

"Where to?" he asked her, shifting carefully to test how stable his hold was. And, "Did she say anything useful before... Y'know."
