Firefly Glen [BWH] dances with elk

Kindle was not participating in the hunts. It had been decided that not all their hunters should participate in so dangerous an endeavor, and Kindle had reluctantly bowed out. It gave him time to watch over their packlands, but it also left him at odd ends when he was in the Glen.

So he decided to dance. He spread the word this way and that, announcing his intention to reach a traditional dance from his homelands — one that depicted the months after the elk rut, when some of the more tired and aged bulls began to wane after the stress of the rut.

He stood now in the appointed meeting place, stretching his mottled legs in preparation. He did not expect many to come, in truth. But he was eager to dance all the same.
