Moonspear pure imagination

Kira’s uncertainty with Kinusi being her bestie had nothing to do with the other she-wolf. Kinusi was rather great. Kira was simply uncertain about herself. 

She was enjoying the conversation with Treepie, who she could also see being besties with, if Kira weren’t so self-conscious, when Kindle approached. She grinned when she saw Kindle. “Hey, cousin,” she said back. “Yes, we are having Girl Talk at the moment,” she added. 

Her heart leapt in her chest in a way she didn’t fully understand. General excitement over the newfound family, perhaps? But she ignored it as she watched Kindle and Treepie curiously.

“If Kindle wants to join, he could. Unless you want to talk about him next.” Her words were teasing as she didn’t expect Kindle to actually be the next topic of conversation.
