I love how your characters always want to have (at least) a dozen puppies. :) I remember similar conversations between Chakra and March Owl, and Catch and Riot...

It was evident in Peregrine's voice that he was excited to start a family with Fox, and that point was driven further home when he proclaimed that he wanted to have a dozen puppies. Elwood couldn't help but chuckle, imagining the two leaders with twelve little mini-Foxes and mini-Peregrines nipping at their heels. "A dozen would keep you busy, for sure," he laughed, then listened as Peregrine became a bit more serious and admitted that he would be happy with however many children nature decided to give them.

"Do you have any names in mind?" he asked, sure that the father would already have a few ideas in mind, given his anticipation. In the back of his mind, Elwood wondered when he would reach that point in his own life; there were still so many uncertainties in the near future, but he hoped that things would settle down soon enough.
