Actually, Fox didn't want to name them until they were a few weeks old. I got her to agree to do it a bit earlier than that. It's traditional in her family to name kids after what they resemble, hence: Fox. In my family, bird names are all the rage." They hadn't really settled on anything specific just yet, so he didn't bother trying to offer examples.

"Man, patrolling is bo-ring," he muttered after a brief but not uncomfortable silence. "I don't know how I'm supposed to show you the ropes when there's absolutely nothing going on. Well..."
