Elwood wasn't exactly surprised to hear Peregrine's thoughts on trespassers. The Alpha was warm and jovial with his packmates, but that also meant that he wanted to protect those packmates. He was territorial and admitted up front that he would have no problem attacking a trespasser with the intent to kill.

The aspiring guardian nodded; had he been human, he would have been the studious type (probably with glasses) who wrote down everything that Peregrine said. As it were, he simply stored the information in his mind. His goal, too, was to protect Redhawk Caldera, and though he wasn't necessarily as fierce as Peregrine, he knew that he would do whatever the situation called for. "Got it," he said.
